Hello Friends!
There have been a lot of questions about what I am doing and why. So, without further ado, I will be answering them Q and A style! (:
Q: What is the World Race 11n11?
A: the World Race 11n11, is an eleven month long mission around the world to eleven different countries.
Q: What countries are you going to?
A: Some pretty cool ones, I am headed to: Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Vietnam, Cambodia, Serbia, Albania, Romania, Ethiopia, Uganda and Rwanda!
Q: What church are you affiliated with? or What church are you going with?
A: In the simplest way to explain this, I will say that I am not affiliated with one particular church. However, Jesus says that we (the people) are the church, the body of Christ. So, in the biblical and spiritual sense, the church that I am affiliated is my squad!
Q: What will you be doing?
A: Because this is my first time on a mission and I will be going to so many different places, I am not entirely sure of exactly what I will be doing or how I will be serving. What I do know is that I will be, in some way, sharing the love of Christ and His message with people in various ways.
Q: How can I support you?
A: There are three ways that I can be supported.
1. Financially – If you feel lead to make a one time donation or consistently give, I would greatly appreciate it. I don’t care what the amount is, anything helps!
2. Prayerfully – This is war, not in the worldly sense but this is spiritual warfare. my squad and I will need constant, fervent prayer.
3. Equipment Donation – If you have been on any kind go backpacking trip and have spare equipment, I’ll take it if you’re willing to part with it!
Q: What Should I pray about?
A: You can pray about a number of things for this journey, but to name a few: Safety, Vulnerability, Strength, Compassion, Humility and Courage!
Q: How much should I donate and for how long?
A: Feel free to give as much as you would like! Donations will be accepted up until my trip is over but I need to meet my quota by January 31st, 2019.
Q: Where do I donate?
A: You can donate on by blog site! If you look at the top of the page, there is a donation option attached to the fundraising bar! Just click on the “Donate” icon and then it will redirect you to Adventure in Missions. When you get to this page it will automatically have all of my information uploaded and you just have to select and amount and voila!
Q: Does the money go to you?
A: It does go to my fundraising amount but it is not mine personally. This money is for everyone participating on the Race and will be pooled.
Q: Can I write a check?
A: Yes, you may write a check. I will have a picture of the Fundraising card that will have all of the information for giving by check, where it can be mailed to and lots of other great information. (if you click on “pictures” located on the left side of the Home Screen, it will be in there).
Q: How else will you be fundraising?
A: I will be selling t-shirts and stickers, sending out fundraising letters and working to raise money.
Q: Can I tell my friends about what you are doing?
A: Yes, Absolutely! Infact, I encourage you to share this with as many people as you can! I could use support of any kind! (:
Q: What church do you attend?
A: I attend Life Church located in Peoria, Arizona.
