After two months of figuring out how I want to answer this question:

Who Do You Hope to be In Five Years?

I finally, know the answer!

In short, I would like to be an engaged, high school english teacher and softball coach. Right now, I’m 23, a missionary and still figuring out how to execute God’s plan for my life. It’s not always easy to know how to go about it and I’m totally okay with that, because I would have never imagined being where I am right now, five years ago.

I would have never guessed that I would give up college softball, a typical job, put my education on hold, leave my friends and family behind, to scavenge the world for lost souls – BUT HEY, HERE I AM!

God, is so much more creative with our lives, His word even says so!

Ephesians 3:20 – “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work in us, to accomplish INFINITELY more than we might ask or think.”

I never asked for this, I didn’t even think or know about the World Race until a month before I signed up for it. I never thought I would let go of my dream of playing at the highest level that I could, to backpack around the World and share Jesus with people. I never knew that I would have to raise $18,200 and have the whole thing provided out of faithfulness. I never thought that I would be willing to step into the classroom to teach high school students, finesse Jesus into environment, disciple people and then coach softball. I never would have thought that I would get what I didn’t know I wanted.

He knows my heart, desires and how much I want to please Him.(which is ALSO Biblical, imagine that????)

Psalms 20:4

Philippians 2:13

Matthew 6:33

ANY WHOSERS

This month I am living in Sombor, Serbia and I have the opportunity to help coach a local softball team as a ministry opportunity. First of all, I’m hecka L I T. Second of all, I’ve been to 7 countries, 3 continents and I have yet to find ONE SOFTBALL team this whole time. It’s all soccer **eye roll emoji** ( l a m e, sorry not sorry). But this month y’all, God was like, “Yo, watch dis, imma give you an opportunity to help in the sport that you love, build relationships, share Jesus AND give you revelations about your future. Lol, I be wildin’ but you gon’ love it fam.”

You: “God, doesn’t talk like that.”

if you don’t know who this is, then you really don’t know who the GOAT is..

Me: “Trust me, He’s hood like that okay?”

Don’t believe me? Read His word

I’m telling y’all about this because I want to share how faithful, intentional and loving God is. Also because, I wanted to share “Who I Hope To Be In Five Years”.

As stated before, I hope to be engaged to a man who loves the Lord more than I do. A man who chooses to serve and share the gospel to people, while also choosing to love me because he loves the Father first! I hope to be teaching English to Juniors and Seniors in High School, while also meeting them where they are in life and being the best example of Jesus that I can to them. I hope to be coaching softball and discipling athletes, teaching them about who their true identity and purpose is in. I hope to be a woman of integrity, perseverance, faith, love and gentleness. I hope to be the teacher that loves her students and encourages them. I hope to be a faithful follower of Christ who never ceases to seek His will for my life.

Y’all, God is so good. He is so faithful, He has called you and has a purpose for you.

I just wanted to share something small with you today, because I am just so ecstatic about the future and what God has planned for me.

Thanks for reading!
